Obviously you can't run a company that has the
word "benchmark" anywhere in the About Us section, and not know
about Dr . Jac Fitz - enz, founder of the
Saratoga Institute, father of HCM, and author of a
dozen books, including the groundbreaking ROI of Human Capital. I never expected to meet
him - much less have him become a mentor, inspiration and a rock
who would guide People Report to keep growing and transforming
during the past seven years. Anyone who has had the pleasure
of meeting, working with and learning from Dr. Jac, knows that his
passion is helping business to measure, predict, and leverage their
most competitive assets - their people. We are thrilled to
announce that Dr. Jac has joined the board of People Report and our
sister company Black Box Intelligence.
The speed of change in business is crushing, and we observe that

One of our new People Report interactive dashboards
is simply called "Business Cycle
Intelligence", and correlates macroeconomic indicators
like consumer confidence, GDP, unemployment, etc. to industry
benchmarks - like turnover, unit growth, etc. It is a tool
that we created to put general business forecasting in the hands of
HR, and allow us to be a bigger contributor to strategy, budgeting,
and forecasting. Some of the inspiration for this dashboard
came from work that we contributed to Dr. Jac's most recent book,
The New HR Analytics; Predicting the Economic
Value of your Company's Human Capital Investments. Long title,
great book, and we are incredibly proud to be included.
